FANUC America (Rochester Hills, MI) introduced the M-710iD/50M robot, representing the company’s first update to the popular M-710i robot series in 17 years.
The new robot offers a payload that increased from 45kg to 50kg with higher wrist load capacity. In addition, the robot’s curved J2 arm prevents interference with parts and fixtures, providing more accessibility at the front of the robot. Another key feature is a 20% improvement in rigidity, offering higher precision and efficiency for a variety of applications. The M-710iD/50M can be used in assembly, arc welding, spot welding, pick/pack/palletizing, material handling, material removal, dispensing, and other applications.

The robot is floor-mounted, works in a six-axis configuration, and has a repeatability of +/- 0.06 mm.
