MC Machinery’s ML 3015 GF-X ADVANCED is a two-dimensional fiber laser cutter with Maisart, a proprietary AI technology used for cutting process optimization. Maisart, powered by an artificial neural network, uses audio and light sensors to monitor the cutting process and adjusts parameters accordingly. (See related stories on Maisart and the new MC Machinery sinker EDM with Maisart.) ML 3015 GF-X ADVANCED also includes an AI nozzle monitor, which uses a camera system to automatically monitor the nozzle health, adjust parameters accordingly, and replace the nozzle.
It has a maximum workpiece size of 3,050 x 1,525 mm and a maximum processing feed rate of 100 m/min. It has an X-axis stroke of 3100 mm, a Y-axis stroke of 1565 mm, and a Z-axis stroke of 120 mm.
The ML 3015 GF-X ADVANCED’s fiber laser oscillators are solid state, use no optical components, and are sealed from the outside air. They feature a dynamic power reserve, automated beam selection, N2 cutting of pure copper, and integrated remote diagnostics. The ML 3015 GF-X ADVANCED has an available power output of 4 kW, 6 kW, 8 kW, and 10 kW. It uses a 100-nanometer fiber cable and has a wavelength of 1.07 nanometers.

The ML 3015 GF-X ADVANCED comes with Mitsubishi’s AGR-eco technology for real-time electrical and assist gas consumption monitoring. MC Machinery reports up to 70% N2 gas reduction with stainless steels and up to 77% N2 gas reduction with mild steels.
The machine uses Mitsubishi’s M800 control technology with a 19-inch user interface. M800 includes online job scheduling and runtime estimation, automatic sheet detection, remote cutting process monitoring, and real-time condition adjustment and correction.
