The Punch Sharp from Prima Power offers servo-electric punching from a compact build. The series features a punching force of 170-230 kN and a punching speed up to 700 hpm. It has a maximum punching diameter of 89 mm and a maximum sheet weight of 200 kg. Prima Power offers optional Dynamic Performance, increasing the maximum punching force to 250 kN and the punching speed to 900 hpm. The series features a maximum sheet size of 2,530 mm x 1,270 mm to 4,300 mm x 1,565 mm, depending on the model, and a maximum sheet thickness of 8 mm. The Punch Sharp has a maximum positioning speed of 108 m/min and an index tool rotation speed of 133 rpm. The Punch Sharp operates at an average power consumption of 4kW.
The Punch Sharp provides simultaneous accessibility of 384 standard tools or 128 index tools in the turret for active use, and the turrets are also compatible with Amada tools. Prima Power additionally offers Multi-Tool stations to increase the number of tools.
The Punch Sharp includes lifting brushes to protect sensitive materials and surfaces. The series includes a pneumatic central clamp locking system and Programmable Clamp Settings. Manual loading and unloading are facilitated by a fixed or moveable table top, which can be locked in different positions, allowing small sheets to be handled close to the operator. Vertical sheet support is also included to facilitate heavy sheet loading.
The Punch Sharp series uses Prima Power’s Tulus and TaskLoader software for operating and order management. They communicate with the machine and ERP and can be used on smartphone or tablet.
