Built on ERMAKSAN’s SPVM/SPLM press control system, the EVO-IV Servo Hybrid manages key machine movements through servo-driven technology, including the main drive system and backgauge axes. This enables the machine to adjust speed and force parameters according to the specific requirements of each part, supporting accurate, repeatable bending across a wide range of applications.
The machine’s closed-loop hydraulic concept integrates key hydraulic functions into a compact and service-friendly architecture. This simplified design supports easier maintenance access, reduces system complexity, and contributes to improved machine availability in production environments where uptime is critical.
As energy costs, carbon reporting, and sustainability targets continue to influence equipment investment decisions across the manufacturing sector, servo-hybrid press brake technology is becoming increasingly relevant for fabrication shops. Under benchmark conditions, the EVO-IV Servo Hybrid can reduce energy demand by up to approximately 65% compared with a conventional hydraulic reference, based on a 220-ton / 3100 mm press brake over 870 cycles in an 8-hour production run. Its servo-hybrid architecture also supports up to 15 dB noise reduction, helping create a quieter and more comfortable operating environment.
In addition, the EVO-IV Servo Hybrid is designed with a reduced hydraulic oil tank volume of 130 L, supporting easier oil handling and a more compact hydraulic footprint. Combined with its integrated architecture, the system helps reduce maintenance effort and supports lower long-term operating overhead.
