The eMOB series from AMOB (Louro, Portugal) features fully electric CNC tube bending, processing tubes from 6mm up to 225 mm OD. The eMOB series has multi-stack capability and can bend fixed and variable radii within the same cycle, providing bending with no straight between. The eMOB machines have an X-axis accuracy of plus or minus 0.05 mm and a Y-axis and Z-axis accuracy of plus or minus 0.05 degrees.
These machines include a carriage booster, which provides bending with radii as tight as 1D, eliminating clamping marks. AMOB offers available systems for welding detection, punching and cutting mechanisms, and integrated loading and unloading for the eMOB series. The eMOB machines utilize 9 or 10 axes depending on the model. Each is independently controlled by a servo electric motor, producing reduced noise and negligible heat.
The eMOB series uses AMOB’s 3D SOFTWARE, which uses direct programming through coordinates or LRA as well as imported CAD files. The software provides automatic spring-back compensation, tool storing configuration and geometry, and anti-collision properties of all axes for component feasibility. AMOB additionally provides AMOBAPP, an app for day-to-day operations, allowing users to enter tube OD, wall thickness, and material and CLR to receive visual representation of bending requirements.
