The Flex 300 series is a family of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) from ForwardXRobotics (Bolingbrook, IL) comprised of three specialized models—L, LS, and SCB, each designed for specific operational needs. Despite their differences, all three share a robust platform with a maximum payload of 300 kg (661 lbs.), ensuring strong performance across various applications.
For all models, the length and width of the AMR base unit is 850 mm x 480 mm, with a ground clearance of 25 mm. Also for all models:
- Navigation mode of Real-time Optimal/Road Network/Hybrid;
- Positioning mode of Laser SLAM/Visual/Ground QR code/Wall QR code;
- Communication is Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac), with optional modes of Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11ax), and cellular network (public 4G/5G)’
- An endurance of approximately 8 hours per charge;
- Sensors such as 4 LIDAR sensors and two cameras; and
- Interaction provided by audio and lights, with safety features as well.
The Flex 300-L is the base unit that is used as the foundation for the other two AMRs. Engineered for ultra-narrow aisles, this model features a lightweight body and an intelligent lifting system, allowing agile navigation in confined spaces.
The Flex 300-LS is designed for autonomous rack docking. It includes a lifting function and an interactive touchscreen with a customizable user interface. It is adaptable to various material racks and provides end-to-end production support in complex workflows.
The Flex 300-SCB is optimized for warehouse picking and sorting, and its compact design enhances space flexibility and efficiency. It also offers optional printer and barcode scanner integration.
