One of the things that makes the AMADA EGB 4010e ERGO so different is that it is made to be operator-centric. This freshly designed press brake will make its North American debut at the AMADA America booth at FABTECH 2024 Orlando.
This new machine excels in producing small, precise sheet metal components. Operator comfort and convenience place high on the list of characteristics of the EGB 4010e ERGO (it is even written into the name). The ergonomic design includes a seat for working from a sitting position, a small work surface in front of the press brake, and a movable touch screen control. A Tool Setup Assistant helps the operator move tool sets into the punch and die areas, significantly boosting productivity.
While the ergonomic cues are obvious, this press brake is a worker. AMADA prototype parts show very fast processing times. The EGB 4010e ERGO is also environmentally friendly, using an all-electric drive. It is rated at 44 US tons, and has a 1.0 meter bed length.
